Team seats: giving your webmaster a login

Seats per plan

Core has no team seats. Growth has three, Scale ten. A pending invite counts as a seat until it is accepted or removed.

What each role can do

• Viewer reads everything and changes nothing. The page editor opens read-only.
• Editor works the questions, drafts and pages: approving, writing, publishing, recording a page's address.
• Admin also runs scans and manages connections, such as WordPress and Search Console, and the autopilot's settings.
• Owner is you. Billing, seats, moving the autopilot and deleting a site or the account stay with the owner.

Members never see billing, credits or upgrade prompts. Anything they do that spends credits comes off the account's balance, recorded against their name.

Invites

An invite lasts seven days and is addressed to one email; the person has to sign in with that email to accept it. One person can be on one team at a time. Someone who has their own subscription cannot join a team, because accepting would replace their own workspace. Removing a seat takes effect on their next click.

Where a member finds connections

The Account pages redirect members away. Connections for a site are also under Your business, which is where an admin seat connects WordPress or Search Console.
