Help/Account and billing
Billing, your card, and cancelling
Changing your card, a failed payment, the trial, pausing, cancelling, and what you keep.
Your card
Your current card is shown with a button to replace it. The new card takes over from the moment you save it, for your renewals and for auto-reload if you have it on.
A failed payment
If a renewal fails you get one email and a red notice in the tracker. Your plan's monthly credits stop refilling until the payment goes through; credits you bought still spend, and you can still read everything. Use Fix payment on the Account page. It pays the outstanding invoice and lets you change the card on the same screen. We retry the card over the next few days; if every retry fails, the plan closes on its own.
The free trial
A trial is three days with a card on file. Nothing is charged until it ends, and the charge moment is stated in your confirmation email as a date and a time in UTC. Cancel from the Account page before then and nothing is charged. Start my plan now ends the trial and charges the full amount straight away. One trial per email, ever, including after a cancel and resubscribe.
Pausing
A pause skips one billing cycle. It starts when the period you have already paid for ends, never before, so until then the banner reads "Pausing on" and everything keeps working. While paused, re-scans, weekly checks and the autopilot stop and plan credits do not refill; everything you built stays. Pausing is for monthly plans, not trials or annual plans. Read more in Pausing versus cancelling.
Cancelling
Cancelling runs to the end of the period you have paid for. You keep full access and your credits until then. Credits you bought stay yours afterwards. Your sites, questions, pages and wins are kept, so subscribing again picks up where you left off.
Deleting your account
At the bottom of Account, under Login and security. It cancels your billing first, then removes your sites, scans, pages and remaining credits. Billing records are kept, as tax law requires. A team member who deletes their account removes their seat, not the owner's workspace.
