What the score measures

Every scan reads a sample of your pages and grades six signals.

Two are foundations. Technical Setup checks that AI crawlers can reach your site. Who's Behind It checks that a reader, or a machine, can tell who wrote the site and why they should be trusted. Each is a checklist read straight off your site. When every item passes the signal is done and shows a 10. There is nothing more to earn there.

Four are content signals. Quotable Content, Topic Focus, Page Connections and Original Content. These grow as you publish, so they are the number you watch. The score on the Overview is these four, and the trend line beside it is the same number across your scans.

What a scan reads

A scan samples up to six pages: your homepage, an about page, and a few content pages, preferring pages that are new since the last scan and pages that earlier advice pointed at. The report says which pages it read. A finding that says something is missing means it was not found in those pages. If you have it somewhere else, dismiss the recommendation and say so, and the next scan will not raise it again.

Do not chase the number

The score is a health check. It tells you whether your site is in a state an AI engine can use. It does not tell you whether an engine is using it. That is what the questions board measures, and a page that gets you named for a buyer question is worth more than any point on the score.
