It says I'm cited, but the answer doesn't mention me

Two different things produce this, and both are deliberate.

A win is held across one missed check

A question counts as won once AI has cited you in two of the last three checks, or on two engines in one check. From then on a single miss does not lose it, because answers shift from check to check. The question page always shows the latest answer, so it can show one that does not include you under a heading that says you are cited. The line under it reads "AI cited you for this in 2 of the last 3 checks, but not in the most recent one", and "See the answer that cited you" opens the one that did.

A second miss in a row moves the question to slipping. A fresh citation flips it straight back. Only when the last citation ages out of the window does it become lost.

A source is not a recommendation

Each engine's answer is read for two separate facts: did it use one of your pages as a source, and did it name your business in the words of the answer. "Used your page, named someone else" is real, and it lives on the board as Cited as a source. It is not on the Wins page, because nobody was told about you. The fix for a source-only question is on the page itself: say who you are in the sentence that answers the question, not further down.

What each mark on the receipt means

Every win has a receipt page with one column per check and one row per engine. Filled means named you. Half means used your page. Ring means asked and you were absent. A dash means that engine was not asked that round, which happens by design: only Perplexity is asked on every question, and the others join once a question has a page or a citation. Hatched means no record was kept, from before we logged every engine.
