Help/Credits and plans
How credits work
One balance, what each action costs, what is free, and what happens when you run out.
Every plan includes a batch of credits each month, and one balance pays for everything.
What things cost
| Action | Credits |
|---|---|
| Writing a page | 95 |
| A whole topic as a set | 95 per page, plus a quarter |
| Checking a site (a scan) | 150 |
| Comparing competitors | 400 after the first, which is included |
| Inspecting a page | up to 30 |
| Updating a page with new blocks | 30 |
| An image for a page, bought on its own | 20 |
| Scoring a page you pasted in | 20 |
| Reading a talk or episode | 25 |
What is free
The monthly re-scan and the weekly question checks. The first competitor comparison on each scan, and four competitor swaps per scan. Re-inspecting a page that has not changed. Uploading your own image. Pasting in a page you wrote elsewhere. On Growth and Scale, the autopilot's first set of pages and one page a week after that.
The free upkeep runs on the first ten sites you added. Any site past that still works fully; scans on it are simply charged.
When they refill
Your plan's credits come back to the plan amount on your billing date; what is unused does not carry over. Credits you buy are separate: they never expire, they spend last, and they stay yours if you cancel.
Running out
When the month's credits are gone you can keep going. The message offers the top-up packs, described in pages, with an option to refill automatically whenever you run out. Or wait for your billing date. Anything that fails to run, such as a draft that errors, costs nothing.
